Alexandra Bayer

Alexandra Bayer is a writer and visual artist from the United States with a recent background in theological studies. In Germany, she intends to explore film’s capacity to transmute memory and energy by approaching it with the qualities of ritual, such as embodiment, attunement, and surrender. To this end, she is very keen to collaborate with somatic researchers, musicians, and spiritual practitioners.

Alexandra will be an artist-in-residence at KHF from Fall 2026 until Summer 2027.
