Independent Residencies

Künstlerhof Frohnau invites artists, researchers, and cultural practitioners to live and work independently in one of its residential guest studios. The former hospital complex is located in the middle of the forest at the northern edge of Berlin—a quiet, inspiring place with access to the city’s public transport. 

Guests are invited to engage with the open context of Künstlerhof Frohnau by taking part in events or presenting their work during the (bi)annual Open Studios. In this way, encounters emerge between international guests, our local community, and the unique setting of Frohnau.
